Sunday Worship Service

Jubilee is planning on resuming corporate worship services on Sunday, June 7 at 10 a.m.! While we are excited to be worshiping together again, we plan to do what we can to ensure a safe environment for those who choose to come.

We encourage everyone to follow their own convictions, wisdom, and common sense in choosing whether to join us for corporate worship. For those who choose not to, we will continue to livestream our Sunday morning services (livestream link below).

If you have symptoms (fever, cough, etc.), are sick, or have been exposed to the virus recently, please stay home out of respect for the other worshipers and join us for the livestream service.

If you have health issues that put you at high risk, you may also want to consider staying home and joining us for the livestream service.

We will be limiting attendance to 25% of our seating capacity. Being our seating capacity is listed at 558, 25% of that is 139, and I do not anticipate having more than that in attendance initially. We plan to have the rows of chairs 6’ apart. People who live under the same roof can sit next to each other, but everyone else should sit no closer than 6’ apart (this equals about the width of 4 sanctuary chairs).

We strongly encourage proper social distancing and the use of face masks for the protection of other worshipers (we plan to have extra face masks available). We are not encouraging handshaking or hugging for the time being.

Initially we will not be having staffed nursery or Kids church. We will have both areas locked. We will also not be serving beverages or snacks. We will not be using bulletins or other handouts at this time (except digitally). Rather than passing offering plates, we will have two offering containers on the steps for people to use at their convenience. For communion we will only be using self-contained pre-packaged communion elements which ushers using gloves will hand out as people come in.

Keep in touch for updates and for resuming ministry on Wednesday evenings (nothing is currently scheduled).

We will be regularly sanitizing our facility, with special focus on areas most used and touched.

All the above guidelines are subject to change as the situation and changing conditions call for.

We’ve missed you deeply and so look forward to worshiping together with those who choose to join us.

Pastors Mark & Becky
