“For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” (Heb. 10:37-38; Hab. 2:3-4)
Many people today get sidetracked and draw back from faithfully pursuing and serving God. It’s often perceived delays that cause people to draw back in disappointment, discouragement and weariness. However, God takes no pleasure in our drawing back. True faith is persevering in the midst of delays and challenges. Have you drawn back? If so, it’s not too late to pick up the pace! God for it! “But we are not of those who draw back …” (Heb. 10:39a) Be part of the company of those who don’t draw back!
