“For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” (Hebrews 10:26-27)
Talking about sin and its consequences is not a pleasant topic, so often it is avoided. However, avoiding it doesn’t lessen or remove the consequences, but only results in more sin. There is a difference between occasionally giving in to the flesh and sinning verses willfully sinning. While we should always be crucifying the flesh and seeking to live a life of overcoming sin, let’s make sure we’re not willfully sinning, which brings severe consequences. Is there any willful sin in your life? If so, repent!
