“Again He designates a certain day, saying in David, ‘Today,’ after such a long time, as it has been said: ‘Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts.’“ (Hebrews 4:7)
Does this verse suggest that on any given day it is possible to hear God’s voice? Do you hear God’s voice speaking to you today? Notice it says that if we hear God’s voice, we should not harden our hearts. We harden our hearts when we don’t believe or respond to God’s voice. Hearing God’s voice but not believing or obeying results in our heart becoming harder. We become more religious but less spiritual. List for God’s voice today and believe and obey whatever He says!
