“By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command.” (Heb. 11:23; Ex. 2:1-2)
When Moses was born his parents hid him by faith from the authorities, believing that God had a special call on Moses’ life and they were willing to risk the consequences of civil disobedience.
Faith says we will obey God rather than men (Acts 5:29). Is your faith being tempted to compromise in order to avoid additional adversity?
