”Remember those who rule over you, who have spoken the word of God to you, whose faith follow, considering the outcome of their conduct.” (Hebrews 13:7)
The author of Hebrews exhorts us to follow the faith of faithful leaders. How can we recognize faithful leaders? Faithful leaders are faithful to properly communicate the Word of God to you. Faithful leaders model faithfulness, not just talk about it. Faithful leaders model their life after Jesus Christ who never changes (Heb. 13:8). Faithful leaders put Christ and His Word above current culture. We have no biblical obligation to follow leaders who aren’t faithful!
