“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
Notice that this verse tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together, not the gathering of ourselves together! What’s the difference between assembling and gathering? Gathering simply means people who are in the same place. Assembling means connected – relationally and functionally!
A puzzle in a box is a group of disconnected people gathered under the same roof. Once the puzzle is together, it is assembled with each piece in its proper place. Don’t just be gathered, be assembled!
