“Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. “ (Hebrews 13:2)
The author of Hebrews leaves us with several exhortations in the closing chapter of Hebrews, including exhorting us to entertain strangers. We’re called to show compassion even to people we don’t know. In today’s culture, this requires discernment and wisdom. It’s easy to get so skeptical that we get numb to those in need. It’s possible that the person in need is an angel in disguise! Could it be that you have missed an opportunity to entertain angels?
