“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.” (Heb. 12:28-29)
Last week we looked at the great shaking mentioned in Hebrews 12:26-27 – a shaking that is intended to remove the carnal and strengthen the spiritual. Notice in verses 28 & 29 that we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken! In other words, when shakings come, the kingdom remains secure! When God brings His shakings, let’s allow them to consume the dross in our lives while bringing a further refining!
We experience a shaking but are not shaken!
