“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” (Hebrews 11:8; Gen. 12:1-4)
By faith Abraham obeyed God and started walking before he knew where he was going. We often want to know more details before we step out and obey God. At times God will tell us to step out in faith and trust Him to guide us. He may not give us the next step until we take the first step. Faith is trusting and obeying God without having to know all the relevant details (like where to go!).
