“By faith he [Moses] forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” (Heb. 11:27)
By faith Moses forsook Egypt risking the wrath of Egypt’s king (Ex. 2:15; 12:31-37). Faith is not necessarily the absence of fear but is trusting and obeying God in spite of fear. True enduring requires keeping our eyes on Jesus rather than the natural realm (Heb. 12:2). Will your faith empower you to trust and obey God in spite of fear?
