We’ve been looking at running our race with endurance and looking unto Jesus as our example and for empowerment to run our race well. Jesus faced the cross with joy – not by focusing on the present pain of the cross but rather the future results of the cross – you and I! Enduring the cross led to His exaltation to the right hand of the throne of God. What are you willing to endure in the temporal present age, for the reward in the eternal age to come? In light of what He went through for you, what are you willing to go through for Him?
