“Most assuredly, I say to you that … you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy …” (John 16:20, 22)
Jesus said that most assuredly (definitely) we will have sorrow in life. We all know that by experience. BUT … Jesus went on to say that our sorrow will be turned into joy! Jesus wants to turn your sorrow into joy! “Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy.” (Psalm 126:5) Are you ready for your tears to be turned into joy? “Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.” (Psalm 30:5) The night is over! It’s morning! Joy comes in the morning!
“Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.” (Neh. 8:10) Joy turns weariness into strength!
Today, let Jesus turn your sorrow into joy! That joy will be your strength – all the strength you will need to overcome!
