“In whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Eph. 2:21-22)
The church is a spiritual structure that is designed by God to be a dwelling place of His presence. For that to occur, the members, who are living stones (1Pet. 2:5) must first be fitted together, then be built together. Many run from the fitting process before they ever get to the being built together process. God uses His Word, His Spirit, circumstances, and other people to deal with our rough edges so we can fulfill our place in the body relationally and functionally. Are you yielding to God’s fitting process so you can also be a part of God’s building process?
