The spiritually mature are ready for spiritual meat, while the spiritually immature can only effectively process spiritual milk. What is the distinction between needing milk rather than solid food? Those who can only process spiritual milk are those who are unskilled or inexperienced in God’s Word. Those who can process spiritual meat are those who are skilled in God’s Word. To become skilled in God’s Word, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2Tim. 2:15 KJV) Are you becoming skilled in God’s Word?
