“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
Because Jesus is our compassionate High Priest, we are invited to come boldly before the throne of grace. Notice that God’s throne is a throne of grace, not a throne of merit! This is why we can come boldly to the throne – not confident in ourselves but in Christ’s provision. At the throne of grace, we obtain mercy. At the throne of grace, we find grace to help in time of need. Do you need some mercy today? Are you in a time of need? There is sufficient grace to meet you in your time of need and sustain you. God confidently to God’s throne today to get the mercy and help you need!
