“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able;” (1Cor. 3:1-2)
Paul spoke to the Corinthians from more of a carnal perspective rather than a spiritual perspective because they weren’t mature enough to process deeper spiritual truths. Paul fed them with spiritual milk rather than solid spiritual food. What would Paul have taught them if they had been more mature? Are you missing some of the deeper spiritual solid food because of a lack of spiritual maturity? Let’s grow up so we can receive all God has for us (see also John 16:12)!
