“As yet I am as strong this day as on the day that Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war, both for going out and for coming in. Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the LORD spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and that the cities were great and fortified. It may be that the LORD will be with me, and I shall be able to drive them out as the LORD said.” (Josh. 14:11-12)
Forty-five years after Caleb was one of the 12 spies, now at the age of 85, he reviews his history with Joshua (Josh. 14:6-10). Caleb believed he was as strong at 85 as he was at 40! Caleb wasn’t done fighting yet – he still wanted to conquer a mountain inhabited by giants (a prophetic promise that hadn’t yet been fulfilled). How about you? Is there a mountain God still wants you to conquer? There may be giants in the land, but the bigger they are, the easier they are to hit – the harder they are to miss!
