“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.” (Hebrews 2:1)
If you don’t “give the more earnest heed” to nurturing your faith, you will experience cultural drift. If you’re in a canoe on a Minnesota lake in the summer and you do nothing, the canoe will be carried in the direction of the wind. In a similar way, if we do nothing to nurture our faith, we will experience cultural drift, which is away from God and a biblical worldview.
