“You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.” (Ps. 91:13)
When you are dwelling in the secret place of the Most High (Ps. 91:1), you are positioned with the authority to tread upon the devil (see Luke 10:19).
Many people complain that the devil is after them, which implies the devil is behind them chasing and harassing them. Notice that we are to put the devil under our feet rather than allow him to remain behind us harassing us!
