But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom. (Hebrews 1:8; Psalm 45:6)
Notice that in this verse God calls His Son “God”! The Holy Spirit inspired the author of the book of Hebrews to apply Psalm 45:6 (referencing God) to Jesus! Jesus is God! Jesus reigns with righteousness forever and ever! Jesus is King of God’s Kingdom, which is eternal.
