If God provided for three million rebellious Jews in the wilderness for 40 years (see the verses below) under an inferior covenant, don’t you think He can take care of you under a superior covenant as you trust Him regardless of what happens in our economy?
“For the LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hand. He knows your trudging through this great wilderness. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you; you have lacked nothing.” (Deut. 2:7)
“Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.” (Deut. 8:4)
“And I have led you forty years in the wilderness. Your clothes have not worn out on you, and your sandals have not word out on your feet.” (Deut. 29:5)
Has God been faithful to you up until now? If so, don’t you think He’ll be faithful to you in the present and future?
