“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:7, 10)
Jesus said heaven rejoices – there is joy in the presence of the angels – when one sinner repents! Think of it – a person on earth can cause the angels in heaven to rejoice! How? By repenting. Repenting isn’t just being sorry for one’s actions, but repenting is changing one’s behavior, starting with your thinking.
You’re not likely to effectively change your behavior with the same thinking that caused the behavior!
Will you cause heaven to rejoice today by repenting? If you don’t need to repent, will you cause heaven to rejoice by leading another to repent? You can cause heaven to rejoice!
