Mark’s Memos

" Whose Servant Are You? "
September 16, 2021

”Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, …” (Jude 1:1)
Jude identifies himself as a bondservant of Jesus Christ. A bondservant is a servant by choice rather than by force.

We all serve somebody! You might serve God, your flesh, other people, institutions, etc. Who do you serve? You serve who you obey the most!

Romans 6:16 says, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?”

Who do you obey the most? That’s who you serve! If you’ve not been serving Jesus Christ the most, repent and purpose to be a bondservant of Jesus Christ – you’ll be glad you did!
