“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy…” (Acts 20:24)
Paul planned to finish his race with joy. It’s not enough to have joy at some time in your life, but Jesus wants His joy to remain in you (John 15:11) until you finish your race (Acts 20:24). Jude 1:24 says it this way, “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, And to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,” (Jude 1:24)
God is able to keep you from stumbling! God is able to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy! Will you finish your race with joy? No one can keep you from finishing your race with joy unless you let them (John 16:22)!
