A spirit of lawlessness is currently raging in America, especially in some of our largest cities. Much of this lawlessness is being excused, tolerated or ignored, especially by mainstream media and liberal politicians. Is it a coincidence that the cities with the most lawlessness are being run by liberals?
Lawlessness is a state of disorder due to a disregard of the law. The Greek word translated lawlessness is also translated as unrighteousness. Lawlessness is illegal behavior civilly, and unrighteous behavior spiritually.
In Matthew 7:21-23, Jesus said three things about lawlessness. First, those who practice lawlessness don’t do the will of God. Secondly, those who practice lawlessness don’t know [personally, experientially] Jesus. Thirdly, those who practice lawlessness won’t enter the kingdom of heaven.
