Now the LORD said to Joshua: “Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; take all the people of war with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, his people, his city, and his land. (Josh. 8:1)
The Israelites lost a battle to the city of Ai that they should have won. God told them not to be afraid or dismayed – not to be discouraged, beaten down or broken down by confusion and fear. God told them to arise and go up to Ai because He had given them the victory.
When you’ve taken a hit, get a word from God. Don’t be afraid. Arise and go and may God be with you!
